The Repose Companion is a transfer system into which a Repose overlay mattress is slid. The unit guarantees high protection against pressure sores, increases comfort and allows the patient to be moved laterally in an ergonomic and safe manner. The incorporated sliding pad on the underside of the Repose Companion protects the patient from the shearing and friction forces created during lateral transfer.
The Repose Companion is usually used on a stretcher and exists in 2 widths, depending on the type of stretcher. It accompanies the patient during all his movements: on the way to the hospital, the transfer between two examinations, the transfer from a stretcher to an examination table.
